Job summary

Waterfall Technology Consulting Partners seeks a Director of Emergency Services to provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for the Emergency Department. This full-time, salaried role oversees operations, staffing, finances, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, and service line growth while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

The position includes a $20,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance on a case-by-case basis, with days only and no weekends.

Qualifications

• BSN required; RN license in applicable state or multi-state compact
• Emergency Department nursing leadership experience
• 1+ year inpatient acute hospital nursing leadership experience (3+ years preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight of Emergency Department operations
• Ensure safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care
• Develop and implement departmental policies and clinical standards
• Optimize patient throughput, staffing, and operational efficiency
• Lead quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance
• Champion patient experience initiatives
• Recruit, mentor, and develop nursing leaders and staff
• Partner with physicians and executive leadership on strategic growth
• Manage departmental budgets, labor, productivity, supplies, and capital resources
