Qualificações

• Admission to the New York State Bar and four years of recent full-time legal experience after admission.
• Eighteen months of supervisory experience over other attorneys in a managerial or executive capacity.
• Experience performing highly complex and significant legal work within an administrative setting.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Deputy Commissioner in formulating and implementing policies to meet departmental objectives.
• Ensure Language Access Program compliance and provide guidance on equity and inclusion.
• Coordinate with the Office of Equal Employment Opportunity on quarterly reports.
• Provide legal guidance to Military Liaisons and assess department policies for fairness.
• Conduct workplace assessments and liaise with internal and external stakeholders on best practices.
• Draft responses and department policy documents to ensure regulatory compliance.
