Qualifikationen

• NY Bar admission with 4+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Must remain NY Bar member in good standing.
• Experience in employment law, inclusion, language access, or military/veteran matters.
• Strong research, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.

Aufgaben

• Assist Deputy Commissioner, Employee Relations, in policy formulation and implementation.
• Ensure DepartmentLanguage Access compliance with LEP requirements.
• Coordinate with Office of Equal Employment Opportunity on quarterly EE0 reports.
• Provide legal guidance to Military Liaisons and other units.
• Draft department policy documents to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Conduct workplace and workforce assessments to identify potential liabilities.
• Liaise with Legal Bureau and stakeholders to implement best practices.
