Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• Experience managing engineering teams (5+ years).
• 10+ years of board design experience.
• Proficient with Altium eCAD tools.
• Experience with OEMs and contract manufacturers.
• Knowledge of DC/DC converters, data buses, analog circuits, and board layout best practices.
• Experience in technical leadership and hardware architectures.
• Experience with systems/hardware architectures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Team Management – Recruit, mentor, and manage the performance of electrical engineers.
• Electrical Design – Schematic and layout of electrical boards; guidance to JDM/OEMs.
• Bring up and validation – Test designs and implement changes.
• Rapid Prototyping – Create quick designs using off-the-shelf parts.
• System Integration – Collaborate with other teams to integrate designs into vehicles.
• Influence design decisions – Help define electrical architecture and execution.
