Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced engineer to own key parts of the 48V powernet control system for advanced vehicle electrical architectures. You will develop system-level requirements and test cases to ensure robust low-voltage power delivery across normal and edge scenarios.

You will collaborate with software, hardware, electrical, diagnostics, functional safety, and validation teams to ensure coherence from concept through release, and you will analyze interactions between power generation,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in automotive system, hardware, or software engineering development.
• 3+ years experience with ICE and xEV low‑voltage power supply architectures (DCDC, BISG, AGM Li-ion, power boxes, load management).
• 3+ years of experience developing or supporting system-level requirements, DFMEA, test cases, and validation plans.
• 3+ years of experience Agile development practices and Jira.

Responsibilities

• Own key aspects of the 48V powernet control system for advanced vehicle electrical architectures.
• Develop system-level control requirements and test cases for robust low-voltage power supply performance.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, electrical, diagnostics, safety, and validation teams from concept to release.
• Analyze interactions between power generation, energy storage, load behavior, and voltage/current stability.
