Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks an eDiscovery Technical Advisor to support civil and criminal matters, FOIA requests, and congressional inquiries. You will serve as a technical expert for eDiscovery applications, collaborate with litigation teams, and ensure production quality and compliance.

Responsibilities include designing discovery plans, collecting data from FBI IT systems, coordinating with processing units, and providing training on tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of eDiscovery/litigation support experience focused on client solutions.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive responsibility on major litigation support projects.
• 2 years in Relativity beyond document review coding.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain government security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree; JD highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, preserve, collect, process, and produce ESI for civil/criminal matters, FOIA requests, and congressional inquiries.
• Provide criminal discovery support; serve as expert user of eDiscovery apps (Enterprise Vault, Discovery Accelerator, LHMT, Veritas).
• Develop discovery plans with search parameters (dates, keywords, custodians).
• Collect data from FBI IT systems per the discovery plan; support attorneys and agents.
• Analyze search/collection results for data gaps.
• Manage inputs into eDiscovery review platform (create cases, add data).
• Manage user access, de-duplication, data gaps, load files, Bates numbering.
• Coordinate collection results with FBI units responsible for processing.
• Provide training and technical assistance on eDiscovery tools.
• Document eDiscovery plans and procedures for each case.
• Support LHMT requests for hold implementation/amendment/removal.
• Provide eDiscovery collections on criminal cases.
