Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks an eDiscovery Technical Advisor to join our Legal team in Boston. The role supports civil and criminal matters, FOIA requests, and congressional inquiries by applying eDiscovery tools and best practices. You will develop discovery plans, preserve and collect ESI, and coordinate with FBI units to ensure timely, accurate productions.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in eDiscovery, 2+ years with Relativity, and strong communication skills. U.S.

Qualifications

• 5 years of eDiscovery/litigation support experience
• 3 years on major lit support projects
• 2 years in Relativity beyond document review coding
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work in fast-paced and agile environments
• Experience with EDRM coverage from File to Trial
• US citizenship required
• Ability to obtain US government security clearance (active preferred)
• BS/BA degree or equivalent; JD highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Identify, preserve, collect, process, and produce ESI for civil and criminal litigation and requests
• Provide criminal discovery support including identifying, preserving, collecting, processing, and producing ESI
• Serve as expert user of Enterprise Vault, Discovery Accelerator, LHMT, and Veritas eDiscovery Platform
• Develop discovery plans detailing search parameters (date range, keywords, custodians)
• Collect data from FBI storage locations on FBI IT systems to support attorneys and agents
• Analyze search results for data gaps
• Administer data inputs in an eDiscovery review platform (create cases, add data)
• Coordinate collection results with FBI units responsible for processing, review, and release
• Provide training and guidance on eDiscovery applications and FBI processes
• Document discovery plans and procedures for each case
• Facilitate legal hold implementation, amendments, and lifts
• Provide eDiscovery collections on criminal cases
