Job summary

Highgate Hotels, LP is seeking a Vice President of Construction for the East Coast to lead hotel development, renovation, design, and construction projects from planning through turnover. Based at the New York Corporate Office, you will own scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk, while translating complex design and financial matters into clear leadership decisions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in construction, design, development, or project management.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, on budget, and to a high standard of quality.
• Strong knowledge of CapEx budgeting and project controls.
• Ability to travel regularly to East Coast project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of hotel development, design, renovation, and construction projects.
• Translate design and construction decisions into financial implications for senior leadership.
• Establish schedules, budgets, and rigorous project controls.
• Oversee bids, contracts, procurement, and contractor performance.
• Ensure permits, inspections, and Certificates of Occupancy are obtained on schedule.
• Build cross-functional partnerships across Development, Finance, Operations.
