Job summary

Onvo is seeking a Vice President of Construction to lead all construction and capital improvement projects across the organization. This executive will set the construction strategy, manage internal teams and external partners, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

The role requires extensive leadership, deep construction knowledge across hospitality and fuel facility developments, and a track record of driving operational excellence and asset value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 10–15 years of progressive construction experience, including oversight of multi-site commercial development projects.
• Minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role managing construction teams and large capital programs.
• PMP certification preferred; LEED accreditation or sustainable building experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction and development strategy aligned with organizational growth objectives.
• Oversee all phases of construction from concept to turnover, managing multiple large-scale projects.
• Develop and manage annual capital budgets and long-range development forecasts; monitor costs and ROI.
• Lead contract negotiations and manage relationships with general contractors, architects, engineers, and consultants.
• Mentor and develop a team of project managers and construction professionals; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
