Job summary

The Salvation Army Red Shield Youth Center seeks an Executive Director to plan, direct, and supervise daily operations across programs, safety, budget, and community partnerships. You will partner with the Area Commander/Corps Officer to establish vision and policy, ensuring mission alignment and strong donor relations.

This role requires leadership in resource development, financial oversight, and program quality, with a focus on youth aged 6–18 and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience with successful operational leadership of multifunctional teams and programs.

Responsibilities

• Develops strategic resource development plans to generate revenues for operational expenses and reserves.
• Collaborates with Advisory Board/Council to secure major gifts and funders.
• Leads and implements the center's strategic plan in coordination with leadership and stakeholders.
• Manages safety practices to ensure compliance and a safe environment for staff and youth.
