Job summary

CIBC is seeking an Executive Director - Product Strategy & Transformation for Global Corporate & Investment Banking (GCIB) in New York. You will shape the strategic vision, lead cross-functional initiatives, and champion digital and data-driven innovation across the GCIB product suite.

You will manage large transformation programs, develop robust data models, and oversee governance to ensure regulatory and risk standards.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate & investment banking, with a focus on product strategy, transformation, or innovation.
• Deep expertise in data modeling, taxonomy development, and data governance as applied to banking products and services.
• Strong knowledge of global banking products, regulatory landscape, and emerging market and technology trends.
• Proven ability to benchmark and implement best practices from leading global banks.

Responsibilities

• Identify strategic technology priorities and requirements with business leaders in corporate and investment banking.
• Develop and maintain a technology roadmap aligned to growth objectives.
• Lead or support large-scale transformation programs including digitalization and operating model redesign.
• Drive data-driven product strategies and risk-aware decision making.
• Collaborate with senior leaders across business lines, technology, risk, operations, and data teams to deliver scalable product solutions.
