Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an undergraduate core program in public administration, business administration, accounting, finance, environmental science, engineering, law, or a closely related field.
• Five years of progressively responsible executive or senior management experience.
• Experience in executive management, supervision, budgeting, financial management, and governmental operations.
• Experience in public relations, legislative relations, stakeholder communications, employee development, and organizational leadership.

Responsibilities

• Administers the Petroleum Underground Storage Tank Financial Assurance Fund per Ohio law and rules.
• Provides independent executive authority directing statewide administration of the Fund.
• Oversees Fund finances, investments, fiscal sustainability, and related policy recommendations.
• Develops and monitors the agency’s biennial operating budget and manages revenues and expenditures.
• Directs the claims reimbursement program, including eligibility determinations and audits.
• Coordinates with BUSTR, Ohio Attorney General, county prosecutors and other agencies on compliance, collections, and enforcement.
• Represents the Board before the Ohio General Assembly and Governor’s Office, delivering testimony and presentations.
• Directs procurement and contract administration for professional services to administer the Fund.
• Oversees agency operations and human resources, workforce planning, and succession planning.
