Job summary

Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation seeks an Executive Director to provide strategic leadership aligning with the Federation’s mission. You will drive fundraising, donor engagement, grants and scholarship programs, and cultivate partnerships across rural communities.

You will oversee budgets, staff, and day-to-day operations while serving as the primary liaison to the Foundation Board and external stakeholders. Strong leadership and nonprofit management experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with relevant field
• Fundraising and nonprofit leadership experience preferred
• Strategic planning and project management experience

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership aligning Foundation and Federation missions.
• Develop and execute annual giving, major gift, corporate, and other fundraising strategies.
• Cultivate and steward relationships with donors, members, volunteers, and partners.
• Promote a culture of philanthropy within the Farm Bureau organization.
• Oversee grantmaking, scholarships, and other charitable initiatives.
• Monitor funded projects and evaluate impact of investments.
• Develop collaborations with foundations and community partners.
• Provide staff leadership to the Foundation Board of Directors.
• Plan Foundation meetings, campaigns, events, and donor activities.
• Manage budgets, staff, resources and day-to-day operations.
• Support governance and identify future Board members.
