JPMorganChase is seeking an Executive Director to lead external communications for the Security and Resiliency Initiative (SRI) in New York. You will shape strategic messaging, manage senior media relationships, and partner across Corporate Responsibility Communications, Government Relations, and business lines to protect and enhance the firm’s reputation.

You will oversee content production, from press materials to op-eds, and guide policy-aligned public-facing narratives.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree required; 10+ years in external/strategic communications.
• Experience translating complex capital, policy, and investments into clear external narratives.
• Proven ability to manage senior media relationships and crisis communications.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development and execution of external communications strategy for SRI across supply chain, manufacturing, defense, energy resilience, frontier tech, pharma and healthtech.
• Advise senior leaders on messaging, positioning, reputation management and high-value engagement opportunities.
• Manage media relations, proactive outreach, issues management with top-tier media.
• Develop proactive campaigns around milestones like investments, expansions, and research.
• Draft and oversee content across formats: press materials, leader remarks, briefs, op-eds, talking points.
• Partner with policy-focused teams to align external communications with policy priorities.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Government Relations for accurate messaging.
• Monitor geopolitical, industry, regulatory trends to inform messaging and opportunities.
• Track outcomes and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare spokespersons for media interviews and public appearances; elevate executives.
• Build cross-firm relationships for coordinated messaging.
