CVS Health Corporation in Rhode Island seeks an Executive Director Software Engineering – PCW to lead modernization of the Retail pharmacy platform and strategic initiatives. You will guide cross-functional teams delivering compliant, secure, scalable software for pharmacy partners and grocers.

Qualifications

15+ years' experience in systems analysis and application program development.
12 years of software engineering with 5+ years in people leadership.
Proven experience building and operating cloud-native systems (GCP) and Java-based microservices.
Bachelors degree required

Responsibilities

Deliver and maintain software ecosystem meeting highly regulated compliance, regulatory, and safety requirements.
Lead multiple product-focused software engineering teams modernizing our core pharmacy platform.
Collaborate with internal teams on automation and machine learning opportunities.
Deploy new and existing applications into cloud environments – AWS, GCP and Azure.
Translate VP-level strategy into roadmaps, backlogs, and execution plans.
Recruit, develop, and retain engineering and data talent; drive SDLC best practices.
