Job summary

North Bay Regional Center seeks an Executive Director to provide strategic leadership, oversee financial stewardship, and ensure high-quality, compliant services. The role reports to the Board and guides an executive team to fulfill the organization’s mission in California’s developmental services system.

The Executive Director will cultivate partnerships with state agencies, service providers, families, and communities, while maintaining integrity, accountability, and a person-centered culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in business administration, health administration, or related field and ten years of executive leadership experience.
• Graduate degree preferred.
• Experience leading a mission-driven organization serving individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership aligned with the Board’s direction.
• Oversee fiscal management and resource development.
• Ensure high-quality, person-centered services and regulatory compliance.
• Foster trust, collaboration, and accountability across the organization.
• Represent NBRC with credibility to stakeholders at all levels.
