El Centro de Amistad (ECDA) seeks an experienced Executive Director to provide strategic, operational, financial, and organizational leadership for the San Fernando Valley-based behavioral health and human services organization. You will lead a mission-driven team, collaborate with the Board, funders, and community partners to advance culturally responsive services and sustainable growth.

The role requires navigating government contracts, Medi-Cal, and regulatory requirements while fostering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit mgmt, business, public admin, behavioral health, social work, psychology, public health or related field.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible senior management or executive leadership experience.
• Experience supervising staff and managing multiple organizational functions.
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid CA driver’s license, and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Board and senior leadership to implement ECDA’s strategic plan and ensure long-term sustainability.
• Identify community needs, risks, funding opportunities, and growth opportunities.
• Lead planning, change management, and continuous improvement with a culture of collaboration and accountability.
• Establish performance measures and report progress to the Board on financial, program, and compliance metrics.
• Provide executive oversight of an ~$11M annual operating budget and financial stewardship.
