Job summary

The Landmark Center in Stuart, VA is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead operations at our assisted living facility. You will oversee daily activities, ensure regulatory compliance, manage budgets, and drive occupancy growth while fostering a compassionate, resident-centered culture.

As a strong operational leader, you will balance clinical quality with financial performance, develop staff, build community partnerships, and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Administrator/ALF license required per state regulations.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience in Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, or Senior Living.
• Strong knowledge of state Assisted Living regulations and compliance standards.
• Proven experience in staff leadership, operations management, and financial oversight.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and management of the Assisted Living Facility.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, policies, and licensing requirements for Assisted Living communities.
• Oversee daily operations including resident care, staffing, budgeting, and facility management.
• Lead and develop department managers and staff to maintain high performance and engagement.
• Maintain strong occupancy levels and community reputation through relationship building and community outreach.
• Monitor financial performance, budgets, and cost controls.
• Ensure exceptional resident satisfaction, safety, and quality of life.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and community partners.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards, surveys, and regulatory inspections.
