Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking an Executive Director to lead the day-to-day operations of a senior living community in Texas. The role drives sales, care, hospitality, and resident engagement while managing budgets, staffing, and regulatory compliance.

The Executive Director will recruit and train leaders, ensure top-tier resident experiences, and maintain safety and quality across all services, coordinating with regional leadership to meet company objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of sales and operations strategies for the community.
• Regularly communicate performance with the Regional Vice President.
• Partner with the Community Sales Director to assess threats and drive local business-to-business sales.
• Understand care regulations and support the resident care program with the Resident Services Director.
• Develop strategies for labor, occupancy, revenue, expenses, and quality of services.
• Ensure adherence to the Residents' Bill of Rights.
• Hire, train, develop, and evaluate staff for a large team.
• Assess resident needs to adjust staffing levels as needed.
• Operate the community in line with policies and regulations.
• Assist in budgeting and capital planning, forecasting expenses.
• Coordinate with field operations and the Support Center for resources.
• Engage with local community activities and networks for resident referrals.
• Review facilities and preventive maintenance regularly.
• Be willing to fill in across roles as needed.
• Build a high-performing, engaged team and safeguard safety and service quality.
• Meet financial targets for the community and maintain a safe living environment.
• Participate in in-house sales activities and resident recruitment events.
• May drive the company vehicle as required.
