Job summary

Jaybird Senior Living is seeking an Executive Director to lead our Memory Care community, overseeing daily operations, staff leadership, budgeting, occupancy goals, and regulatory compliance.

You will ensure resources are in place to deliver quality services, while fostering a welcoming environment for residents, families, and team members.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 1 year supervisory/management in long-term care, healthcare, or senior living.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills; effective decision making.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to quality service and well-being of seniors.

Responsibilities

• Lead, recruit, train, and supervise on-site staff; ensure high performance.
• Oversee all community operations including culinary, housekeeping, and maintenance.
• Coordinate with Healthcare Coordinator to meet resident care needs.
• Monitor budgets, billing, rent collection, and expenses; monthly/annual reports.
• Drive occupancy goals through marketing, events, and community relations.
• Communicate with families, conduct staff in-services.
• Serve as primary on-call leader for emergencies.
• Ensure HIPAA and state regulatory compliance.
