Job summary

Oxford Community Schools is seeking a Director of Facilities, Maintenance and Custodial Operations to lead the district's facilities, grounds, and services.

The role oversees building operations, budgets, contractors, safety, and energy use, reporting to the Assistant Superintendent of Business and Operations. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of supervisory experience are required; position is full‑time year‑round.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Leadership abilities evidenced by prior roles.
• Knowledge of maintenance, HVACR, facilities planning and compliance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, facilities and custodial operations district‑wide.
• Authorize operational changes with building and district admins.
• Plan and oversee bond issues and renovations; manage cost estimates.
• Develop facilities plan and manage maintenance budgets.
• Supervise staff, monitor contracts and safety systems.
• Monitor energy use and ensure compliance with policies.
