The University at Albany is seeking an Associate Vice President for Research Administration to lead and coordinate the Division for Research and Economic Development. The AVP will provide strategic direction for research administration, ensure compliance and governance, and align operations with the university's research priorities and growth objectives.

Formación

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Ten years of leadership and supervisory experience in research administration or higher education.
• Preferred: professional certification in research administration or related field.
• Preferred: experience at a research-intensive (R1) university.

Responsabilidades

• Lead continuous improvement and change management initiatives designed to enhance operational effectiveness, customer service, employee engagement, and institutional capacity.
• Develop recommendations regarding organizational design, workforce planning, technology utilization, and resource investments that support long-term institutional goals.
• Represent the VPRED in University leadership meetings, institutional committees, and external stakeholder engagements, providing executive-level leadership and coordination for initiatives advancing the University's research, compliance, operational, and strategic priorities.
