Job summary

The University at Albany, in partnership with The Research Foundation for SUNY, seeks an Associate Vice President for Research Administration to lead the research administration enterprise, including SPA, RFHR, and ORRC. This senior role reports to the VPRED and drives strategic planning, governance, and risk management across the research enterprise.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required or equivalent.
• Ten years of progressively responsible leadership in research administration or higher education.
• Experience coordinating research administration, compliance, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for integration of SPA, ORRC, RFHR and Academic Affairs.
• Coordinate executive-level responses to audits, sponsor concerns, and enterprise risks.
• Lead cross-functional planning and communications across research administration functions.
