Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Executive Director of Quality and Safety to lead enterprise clinical quality programs and patient safety initiatives. You will oversee planning, coordination, and evaluation of CMS and payer value-based programs and partner with Mercy leaders to improve outcomes.

The role requires a strong background in healthcare management, analytics, and change leadership, with the ability to drive cross‑functional projects, report performance, and travel to Mercy facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• MBA/MHA/MPH or MS in nursing or equivalent healthcare leadership degree.
• 10+ years in healthcare management with program oversight.
• Strong knowledge of clinical quality measures (HEDIS) and CMS programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality and safety program deliverables across Mercy's care continuum.
• Lead enterprise improvement initiatives and report performance to leadership.
• Develop partnerships across departments and manage improvement professionals.
