Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related environmental field.
  • Minimum five years supervising professional staff in environmental enforcement, policy, and response.
  • Experience with environmental policy, pollution control, and emergency response.
  • Master's degree in related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership over PCS operations and staff; execute mission and strategic plan.
  • Oversee budget preparation and fiscal oversight of funds and grants.
  • Develop environmental policies and legislative strategy at multiple levels.
  • Establish and maintain intergovernmental and community partnerships.
  • Lead environmental monitoring, compliance, and emergency response activities.
  • Represent PCS in public forums and engage stakeholders.
