Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and 10 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience.
• Registered Nurse in California.
• Advanced knowledge of hospital operations in a multi-hospital setting.
• Advanced communications and interpersonal skills to promote an effective shared governance model.
• Ability to develop nurse leaders and implement a systems strategic plan.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance environments.
• Experience collaborating with senior executives, physicians, and clinical leaders.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight for perioperative operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.
• Translate organizational strategy into operational priorities and actionable goals.
• Lead Directors, Managers, and leaders, fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Serve as the senior operational escalation point for complex issues and decisions.
• Drive performance across access, throughput, capacity, resource utilization, and patient experience.
• Partner with leaders to optimize OR utilization, capacity, and growth initiatives.
• Lead large-scale improvement efforts across departments to boost efficiency and service.
• Oversee operating and capital budgets and resources.
• Use data to guide decisions and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
• Support capital planning and strategic investments.
• Ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Represent Perioperative Services in executive committees and strategic planning efforts.
