• Registered Nurse license in California.
• Strong hospital management experience with perioperative services and knowledge of hospital operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaborative decision making.
• Strong leadership, fiscal and operations management skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare IT and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements operational processes to ensure quality patient care across large departments and/or multiple units.
• Participates in the development and implementation of patient care practices meeting internal policy and external regulations.
• Partners with leadership to develop policies and procedures for coordination of care across patient populations.
• Represents nursing units on interdisciplinary committees and at the medical center level.
• Reviews budgetary recommendations and coordinates resource needs for areas of responsibility.
• Mentors nurse leaders and supports succession planning.
