Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks an Executive Director of Patient Support & Services to design and operationalize patient access programs, reimbursement support, affordability assistance, and adherence education. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 15+ years in patient services, market access, reimbursement, or related pharma/biotech functions.
• 10+ years in management/leadership.
• Significant experience designing patient support programs in a launch readiness environment.
• Proven track record scaling capabilities.
• Extensive knowledge of patient services vendors (hubs, copay administrators, specialty pharmacies, strategic partners).
• Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication; self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate patient access programs to enable reimbursement and affordability for patients.
• Lead launch readiness including capabilities, infrastructure, technology, vendors, processes, and reporting.
• Manage relationships with hubs, copay administrators, and specialty pharmacies.
• Oversee patient support vendors and performance management.
• Build patient-facing teams for proactive outreach and education at key milestones.
• Design cost-share reduction programs and patient assistance options.
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant data handling and build compliant data flows.
• Define KPIs and analytics for starts, reimbursement outcomes, and patient experience.
• Ensure activities comply with healthcare laws, regulations, standards, and company policies.
• Lead budget planning and financial oversight for programs.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and patient/provider experience.
