Executive - Director of L&D

Profession: Nursing

Shift: Weekdays with call requirements

Hours per Shift: Guaranteed 36 hours

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in nursing, with leadership experience within the last 2 years.

License: RN License current in the state of Colorado or compact state.

Certifications: Colorado adult protective services (CAPS) check required.

Must-Have: Minimum graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Minimum of 3 years training and experience in OB Nursing. Skilled in People Leadership and able to take bedside shifts as needed.

Description: The OB Nursing Manager is a registered nurse with demonstrated expertise in nursing. The OB Nursing Manager has responsibility for the supervision of patient care, nursing staff, and OB operations. The OB Nursing Manager works collaboratively with the Leadership team to facilitate efficient clinical operations. They are responsible for staff development, effective management of resources, and quality improvement in OB. Access to reliable transportation is required due to the rural setting. Holiday coverage may be required.
