MedCadre is seeking an experienced OB Nurse Manager to provide clinical leadership and oversee daily operations of the Obstetrics department, ensuring safe, high-quality care for mothers and newborns.

The role emphasizes staffing, patient flow, staff development, clinical governance, and collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care. Strong clinical judgment and leadership are essential, with a focus on quality initiatives and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; active RN license in Colorado or applicable state.
• Experience in Labor & Delivery and nursing leadership is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications; NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily OB nursing operations, staffing, scheduling, and patient flow.
• Supervise, support, and evaluate nursing staff while promoting professional development.
• Monitor maternal and fetal care, clinical outcomes, documentation, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Respond to complex obstetric situations and support staff during emergencies.
• Manage departmental resources, supplies, and staffing needs.
• Track department performance and communicate updates and concerns to leadership.
