Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Raleigh, NC. The role requires circulating and triage skills, OB fetal monitoring, and the ability to support C-sections in a fast-paced maternity unit.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)


Must-Have:



  • Current and active Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification

  • Previous Labor & Delivery operating room experience

  • Ability to circulate C-sections

  • Ability to triage for obstetrics


Description:Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards.Reporting and accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director.Responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting.


Participates in identifying and meeting learning needs of self.Attends education programs based on identified learning needs.Utilizes patient education materials relevant to patient population.Assesses readiness to learn of the patient, family, and caregivers.Evaluates patient care outcomes and seeks guidance as needed.Engages in discussions with the interdisciplinary team regarding patient care evaluation.Communicates relevant information to promote continuity of care.


Demonstrates competence in caring for patients with complex problems.Performs bedside point-of-care testing as required for patient care plans.Adheres to healthcare organization and nursing standards, policies, and procedures.Organizes and prioritizes care according to patient and family needs.Consults with appropriate resources regarding complex care issues and discharge planning.


Develops goals to promote professional growth or minimize limitations.Achieves goals within identified time frames or renegotiates with supervisors.Is knowledgeable about activities that facilitate collaboration across departments.Participates in the development and achievement of unit goals and performance improvement activities.Effectively utilizes communication systems to promote cost-effective care.Provides feedback to co-workers and is aware of public policy and regulatory guidelines affecting healthcare.Promotes a safe and secure hospital environment for all.
