Job summary

FORTNA seeks a Sr. Director of Project Management to oversee a broad regional portfolio of large client-facing projects. You will provide strategic direction to Program Executives and PM Team Leads, ensure delivery excellence, and partner with the PMO to standardize governance and processes.

You will drive client satisfaction, manage budgets and risks, and foster cross-functional leadership to deliver on-time, on-scope results while continuously improving delivery performance.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in project management and delivery leadership.
• 5+ years leading a team of senior project leaders (Program Executives, Project Directors, etc).
• PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials.
• Demonstrated success in managing large, complex project portfolios in client-facing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional project portfolio planning, execution and delivery across North America within time, scope and budget.
• Direct and develop a team of senior delivery professionals including Program Executives, Project Directors, and PM Team Leads.
• Engage executive clients, maintain relationships, address escalations, and align delivery with business objectives.
• Partner with PMO to enforce governance, standards, tools, and performance metrics; support portfolio reporting and continuous improvement.
• Monitor portfolio KPIs, manage budgets, margins, and resource utilization; support negotiations and contracts.
