Job summary

Cascade County Law Clinic seeks an Executive Director to serve as the chief executive officer, guiding policy implementation, strategic planning, financial oversight, and program administration. The role reports to the Board of Directors and leads staff, volunteers, and clinic initiatives.

The Executive Director will develop annual budgets, pursue grant funding, and prepare regular reports while ensuring compliance with policies and advancing pro bono legal work across the program.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a nonprofit or clinic operations.
• Experience in grant writing and fundraising.
• Background in administrative management and reporting.
• Juris Doctor degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership of staff and program activities.
• Oversee financial management and annual budgeting processes.
• Research and prepare grant proposals and funding applications.
• Collaborate with the Board on fundraising events and activities.
• Prepare monthly and end-of-year program reports and evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Oversee potential law clinic programs and initiatives.
• Assist the Board in developing annual goals and objectives for the program.
• Monitor progress toward goals and keep the Board informed.
• Maintain awareness of statewide pro bono activities and opportunities.
