Job summary

Legend Biotech USA Inc. is seeking an Executive Director, Clinical Development, to lead the Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma program.

Based in Somerset, NJ, this role will drive strategic clinical development across early and later-stage studies, integrating translational data and safety to enable potential registration. The ideal candidate has an MD/MD-PhD with hematology/oncology board certification, 6+ years in biopharma clinical development, and experience in cell therapies such as CAR-T.

Qualifications

• MD, MD-PhD, or equivalent medical degree required; board certification in hematology or oncology is required.
• Minimum of 6 years of clinical development experience in biopharmaceuticals or academic medicine, with substantial hematology malignancies experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical lead for NHL program, providing strategic, scientific, and medical leadership.
• Develop integrated clinical development plan including indication strategy, endpoint strategy, biomarker strategy, and safety monitoring.
• Lead design, execution, and interpretation of first-in-human and early-phase studies; contribute to late-stage development when appropriate.
• Provide medical oversight for study conduct, safety reviews, and regulatory documents; support IND submissions and regulatory interactions.
• Collaborate with translational sciences, regulatory, safety, biostatistics, data management, and commercial teams to align development plans.
• Represent NHL program in governance forums, external meetings, and partnerships.
