Legend Biotech, based in Somerset, New Jersey, is seeking an Executive Director of Clinical Development to lead the Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma program. The role drives strategy, study design, and cross-functional execution in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

The candidate will oversee early and later-stage development, IND interactions, biomarker-informed plans, and regulatory readiness, with extensive hematology/oncology experience and a strong record in cell therapy leadership.

Qualifications

• MD/MD-PhD or equivalent medical degree with hematology/oncology board certification.
• 6+ years in clinical development within biopharma or academic medicine.
• Experience leading early development programs and IND interactions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical lead for the NHL program and provide strategic, scientific, and medical leadership.
• Develop and execute integrated clinical development plans including endpoints, dose selection, and biomarkers.
• Lead first-in-human, dose-escalation, dose-expansion, and proof-of-concept studies.
• Collaborate across functions to ensure regulatory submissions and robust data generation.
