Job summary

California Job Shop in Los Angeles/Orange County seeks an Executive Director to lead Behavioral Health Network operations, oversee Medi-Cal licensing, and guide expansion to 10 inpatient and 10 outpatient facilities. This on-site, full-time role reports to the CEO and manages budgets, regulatory compliance, staffing launches, and clinical quality across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate holds an advanced degree and 7–10 years of executive health care leadership, with a track record of scaling

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of executive leadership in behavioral health or related facilities.
• Deep Medi-Cal regulatory familiarity (DHCS licensing, ASAM criteria, CalAIM).
• Proven experience expanding facilities and launching new locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-site network expansion and strategic planning across LA/OC.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality assurance across facilities.
• Oversee budgeting, financial oversight, and billing workflows.
• Supervise senior leadership and drive clinical excellence.
