Job summary

Bay Area Community Services is seeking a Vice President of Behavioral Health to lead contract and program operations. The role oversees clinical, administrative, fiscal, and quality improvements across multiple programs, driving strategic growth and ensuring compliance with laws and funders.

The ideal candidate has a decade of senior leadership in social services, licensure (LCSW/LMFT), and a track record of multi-site P&L management, stakeholder engagement, and delivery of high-quality care.

Qualifications

• LCSW/LMFT licensure required with two years post-licensure leadership experience.
• Ten years of progressive administrative, direct service, and leadership experience in social services.
• Experience with subpopulations served (SMI, SUD, chronic health conditions, housing-insecure/unhoused).
• Multi-million dollar P&L management at multi-program/multi-site level.
• Capacity leading diverse, multi-disciplinary teams toward common goals.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates BACS values and acts as ambassador to stakeholders.
• Identifies and develops new business opportunities per strategic plan.
• Pursues private and public partnerships for the agency.
• Monitors performance of Directors; reports to the CPO quarterly.
• Owns full P&L accountability for programs and contracts; manages financial risk.
