Dept is seeking an Executive Director of Motion Design to lead and grow our Motion practice. This senior leadership role requires a visionary creative executive with extensive experience in motion craft and a strong strategic mindset.

You will define the creative direction, build teams, and manage client relationships while ensuring high standards in motion craft. The position is remote but requires candidates to be within 50 miles of New York, NY.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional experience in motion design or a related creative discipline.
• Demonstrated experience owning a creative practice or studio P&L.
• A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing outstanding motion design and animation direction.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the strategic direction and creative standards for Motion Design.
• Own P&L for the Motion Design practice, including resourcing and growth targets.
• Recruit and develop a high-performing team of Motion Designers and Senior Motion Designers.
