Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is seeking a seasoned Project Director, FEP to lead its largest capital program, exceeding $1 billion. You will establish strategy, governance, and delivery models while steering multidisciplinary teams through development, permitting, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and readiness.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressively responsible experience leading large capital projects, programs, or portfolios.
• Experience serving in a senior leadership role for large-scale infrastructure, energy, utility, or industrial projects.
• Proven ability to engage executive stakeholders and drive strategic decisions at Board/regulator levels.
• Advanced knowledge of capital program management across development, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and readiness.

Responsibilities

• Serve as executive leader and primary accountability for the FEP program, exceeding $1B in value.
• Establish vision, strategy, governance, and delivery model aligned to corporate objectives.
• Oversee safety, scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and commercial performance.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, construction, procurement, legal, regulatory, finance, and operations.
• Develop executive relationships with regulators, customers, and stakeholders; manage governance boards and investment forums.
• Provide strategic recommendations on investments, risk, and regulatory strategy.
• Approve major changes, contracting strategies, contingency use, and resource allocation.
• Oversee project controls, forecasting, and executive reporting.
