Job summary

Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is seeking a Manager, Capital Projects to serve as the executive leader responsible for delivering the company’s largest capital program. This hybrid role leads cross-functional teams across engineering, construction, procurement, finance, legal, regulatory, and operations to ensure safety, schedule, budget, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business, or related field.
• 15+ years leading large capital projects, programs, or portfolios.
• Experience delivering infrastructure projects with budget/schedule/regulatory/stakeholder challenges.
• Senior leadership delivering large-scale infrastructure and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Valid State Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the executive leader for the FEP program, exceeding $1B in value.
• Establish vision, strategy, governance, and delivery model for capital projects.
• Ensure safety, scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and commercial performance.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, construction, procurement, legal, regulatory, finance, and operations.
• Direct planning, coordination, and execution of interdependent workstreams.
• Maintain executive relationships with regulators, customers, and stakeholders.
• Provide strategic recommendations on investments, risk, regulatory strategy, and outcomes.
