Job summary

Journey Healthcare in Louisville, KY is seeking an Executive Director to lead operations of our care center, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality resident care.

The role focuses on workforce leadership, program development, and community partnerships, with a commitment to advancing Journey’s mission and vision. Qualified candidates are licensed Nursing Home Administrators; a BS/BA in Healthcare Administration is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Nursing Home Administrator according to state regulation and must attend continuing education as required.
• BS/BA Degree from an Accredited College in Healthcare Administration or related healthcare field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Quality Care & Compliance: Ensures patient-centered care by maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, adhering to Journey’s policies and standards, and leading quality assurance and process improvement programs.
• Workforce & Operational Leadership: Oversees workforce management, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management, while ensuring budgetary stewardship and effective business operations planning.
• Community & Business Development: Builds partnerships through business development meetings, fosters active community involvement, and supports center participation in healthcare associations at local and state levels.
