Job summary

The Augusta Food Bank seeks an Executive Director who will serve as the nonprofit’s chief executive officer, reporting to the Board of Directors, and oversee strategy, finances, operations, fundraising, and community engagement. The ED ensures sustainability, aligns with Feeding America standards, and acts as the primary ambassador to community, corporate, government, and nonprofit partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business/nonprofit management.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience in a similar role, including leading and managing a team.
• Extensive experience in strategic planning and implementation.
• Strong financial management skills, including budget development and investment oversight.
• Demonstrated success in fundraising and resource development.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience working with a board of directors.
• Work requires lifting/moving food items and operating company vehicles.
• Must have a current valid driver’s license.
