Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth is seeking an experienced, visionary leader to serve as the Executive Director of the Northpark YMCA. This role leads branch operations, fundraising, and an expansion project to increase impact in the community.

As Executive Director, you will guide membership, wellness, aquatics, youth development, and staff, while building partnerships and managing budgets. A strong track record in fundraising and volunteer development is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• Four or more years of program management experience, preferably in a YMCA or other nonprofit agency.
• YMCA Team Leader or Multi-team/Branch Leader certification preferred, but can be obtained during employment.
• CPR and First Aid certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and directs high-quality member engagement strategies and programs that support branch membership growth and Association goals and strategies.
• Represents and promotes the YMCA in local community and develops positive working relationships with other organizations, businesses, and governmental entities.
• Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with community agencies in service delivery area.
• Recruits, hires, trains, develops and directs employees and volunteers. Reviews and evaluates staff performance.
• Develops, manages, and monitors assigned operating budgets to meet or exceed targets. Recommends adjustments to the budget to assure a balanced operation and submits reports on current operations.
• Works with diversity and inclusion initiatives to ensure "For All" in our communities and staffing.
• Establishes plans for the expansion of programs and services, in harmony with the overall YMCA objectives and leadership team.
• Provides staff support for assigned committees. Provides staff leadership for annual support campaign.
• May ensure the maintenance of facilities and properties of the branch to high standards of maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and to assure that the requirements of regulatory codes are fully met.
• Serves as a member of YMCA management and supports the overall objectives of the YMCA.
