Jewish Tampa is seeking an Executive Director to lead the Tampa JCCs and Federation, driving growth in membership, programs, and services across two campuses. The role combines supervision of staff, fundraising leadership, and high‑level external engagement.

The ED will maximize program revenues, secure corporate sponsorships, and coordinate with foundations and government grants while serving as a principal public face of the organization. Vision and inclusivity are essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree; an advanced degree is strongly preferred.
• Experience achieving growth and effectiveness in a JCC or other Jewish communal environment is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of five years of senior leadership experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Persuasive communicator with strong English verbal and written skills.
• Strong knowledge of Judaism and Jewish culture and values.
• Proven ability to innovate and lead organizational change.
• Ability to build, lead and develop teams and staff.
• Budgeting experience and financial stewardship.

Responsabilités

• Lead staff across JCC programs, preschool, aftercare/camp and membership.
• Drive donor relations, fundraising and grant procurement from foundations and government sources.
• Represent the Tampa JCCs locally, statewide, and nationally within the JCC network and with external partners.
• Attend monthly board meetings and provide reports on governance and program outcomes.
• Maintain a balanced budget and oversee financial performance.
• Oversee risk management, security, and safety across all sites.
• Lead strategic planning to grow membership, programs, funding, and facilities.
