Position Summary

The Tampa Jewish Community Centers and Federation seeks an Executive Director of its JCCs who will grow membership and programs, be an excellent supervisor and fundraiser, and be one of the key public faces of the organization, focusing on the operations and effectiveness of the Shanna and Bryan Glazer JCC and JCC North Campus. Prior JCC or other Jewish communal experience is strongly preferred. As a result of the Tampa JCCs being part of an integrated JCC-Federation, some of the typical JCC administrative functions will be managed by other departments; however, the successful candidate will have significant input into the goals and operations of the entire organization.

The Executive Director (ED) will be responsible for overseeing a broad array of fitness, recreational, educational, cultural and social programs. The ED will also play a lead role in maximizing membership recruitment, all program fees and other revenues for the JCCs. These include a lead role in charitable fundraising among individuals, families, corporate entities and grant procurement from foundations and all levels of government. In addition, the Tampa JCCs ED will strive to secure as many corporate sponsorships as possible for JCC programs.
