Job summary

Multnomah County Health Department seeks an Integrated Clinical Services Director to lead the system across ~20 sites, 650 FTE, and a $193M budget. This role provides executive leadership under HRSA requirements, aligning priorities with organizational mission and community health goals.

Responsibilities include strategic direction, governance, quality and compliance oversight, financial stewardship, and workforce culture development to advance health equity and protect vulnerable populations.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership and Governance: Set the strategic direction for Integrated Clinical Services and translate priorities into measurable goals, policies, and operating plans.
• Board Community and Government Relations: Build effective relationships with county departments, elected officials, HRSA, and safety-net partners.
• Clinical Quality and Compliance: Establish clinical quality goals, direct the quality program, and monitor performance against the quality plan and federal grant requirements.
• Financial Stewardship: Direct budget development, approval, implementation, monitoring, and reporting for a complex health center system.
• Workforce Leadership and Culture: Create a culture of trust, accountability, inclusion, transparency, psychological safety, and employee engagement.
