Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. seeks a Director of Inpatient Operations for the New England Recovery Center in Westborough, MA. This full-time exempt role leads inpatient program operations and supports leadership to ensure regulatory compliance.

The position requires a Master’s in social work, counseling, or human services with licensure, plus five years of management experience in healthcare or behavioral health. Strong communication and budgeting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or human services required.
• Counseling field licensure required.
• Experience with DPH BSAS licensing requirements preferred.
• Five+ years of management/supervisory experience in healthcare or behavioral health preferred.
• Excellent verbal, social and writing skills required.
• Ability to develop budgets, policies and procedures and motivate managers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee programmatic and administrative operations for inpatient services.
• Provide support to the Executive Director of Inpatient Services/ Program Directors to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Promote customer service, professionalism, and quality improvement in behavioral health services.
• Represent Spectrum to markets and foster positive public relations for Spectrum's services.
• Meet business needs of the organization, including hours beyond 40 per week when required.
