AdventHealth is seeking an Executive Director of Inpatient Care Services to oversee patient care management, personnel, education, and unit leadership across medical, surgical, critical care, and respiratory units. This role translates hospital objectives into action and drives service excellence.

You will lead multiple departments, champion nursing practice advancement, and mentor staff while ensuring financial discipline and policy compliance within a faith-based health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Nursing or higher required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Field of Study: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related healthcare field.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients and families about disease processes and treatment plans.
• Maintains accurate and detailed patient documentation.
• Performs patient follow-up and consultations.
• Orders and maintains medical supplies within budget.
• Participates in professional growth through educational programs and workshops.
• Assists with clerical duties to ensure smooth office operations.
• Promotes and maintains high levels of patient satisfaction in all clinical areas.
• Develops and implements strategies to reduce turnover and improve onboarding of new hires.
• Facilitates leadership development and mentoring in nursing.
• Monitors and maintains compliance with budgets in all assigned cost centers.
• Accountable for monthly variance report with appropriate action plans.
• Facilitates annual budget reviews and capital review for assigned cost centers.
• Reviews and updates inpatient clinical policies and procedures and updates them annually.
