Job summary

True Connection Communities’ Arbour Square of Harleysville seeks an Executive Director to lead the Independent Living community just north of Philadelphia. The role focuses on occupancy, resident satisfaction, and exceptional service delivery.

The ideal candidate will apply strong leadership, budgeting, sales and marketing expertise to foster a high-performing team, engage residents, and partner with regional leaders to execute the company vision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of leadership experience in a senior living and/or hospitality environment.
• Independent leadership with problem-solving and situational awareness.
• Strong relationship-building with employees, customers and residents.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Financial acumen including budget management.
• Analytical skills to use data for strategic actions.
• Agile and adaptable mindset with evolving business needs.
• Strong tech/digital skills (navigating websites, spreadsheets, email).

Responsibilities

• Lead operations of the senior living community, including resident support, sales and marketing, administration, dining, activities, housekeeping, security and maintenance.
• Supervise, coach and develop assigned staff.
• Collaborate with Regional Directors on budgets, initiatives, and company vision.
• Hire, train, and discipline staff to ensure top talent for residents and business.
• Inspire the team to deliver cost-effective services in a stable community.
• Participate in Manager-on-Duty and cover weekends on a rotating basis.
• Lead by example with a culture of love and respect for residents and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
