Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit providing services to individuals with disabilities. We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Director of IDD Services to lead and manage our Indiana, PA operations, ensuring compliance, growth, and responsible budgeting.

Must live in or relocate to Indiana County. The role includes developing partnerships with stakeholders, government agencies, and funders, expanding resources, and promoting high-quality services while guiding staff development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with five years of related administrative and supervisory experience
• Master's Degree preferred
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
• Commitment to community-based support for persons with disabilities
• Experience with funding sources and entitlement programs for people with disabilities
• Ability to partner with stakeholders, government officials, and industry associations
• Public speaking at events, conferences, and on social media platforms
• Team oriented with demonstrated leadership experience
• Background checks including criminal, registry, child abuse, and drug testing

• Manage daily operations and ensure compliance with licensing and reporting standards

• Assess operational issues and develop solutions for a high-quality program
• Recommend policies and procedures to improve efficiency
• Locate and pursue grant and funding opportunities

• Maintain management, financial, and personnel controls and provide documentation to the national office
• Interface with local, state and governmental agencies
• Develop long- and short-term department goals and systems
• Cooperate with licensing and department staff during inspections

Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states.

We are seeking a Highly Skilled and dynamic Executive Director of IDD Services to lead and manage our Indiana, PAoperations! This is a key and exciting role for an individual who has a commitment towards improving the lives of persons with disabilities. The Executive Director is responsible for all operations for the region including compliance, growth and development, budget and workforce development. Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily operations and compliance with state licensing and reporting standards
• Formulate and implement an advisory board which will assist the organization in developing and expanding resources to improve service delivery
• Assess operational issues and develop comprehensive solutions to maintain a high-quality program
• Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed
• Locate and recommend appropriate grant and funding opportunities
• Conduct fundraising activities that effectively promote the needs of the national organization
• Promote and maintain a positive public image of Community Options and our mission
• Institute and maintain appropriate management, financial and personnel controls, and provides the national office with the necessary documentation and paperwork
• Interface with local, state and governmental agencies
• Participate in developing long and short-term department goals, objectives, and systems
• Employee must cooperate with the license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with five years of related experience in administrative and supervisory roles; Master’s Degree Preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
• Understanding and commitment to community-based support for persons with disabilities
• Understanding of funding sources and entitlement programs for people with disabilities
• Ability to partner across internal/external stakeholders, government officials, and industry associations
• Confident with public speaking at events, conferences, and on social media platforms
• Team oriented with demonstrated leadership experience
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
